What training would one have to have to become a VCO?
Would there be a need for one in the Branch County area?
Upon becomming one, would you only be one while in the company of a CO, or would you be able to check licences and minor things on your own?
With whom can I contact about this, and last but not least is there an age limit?(like is 40 too old :)
Thank You..............Buckmaster

If an officer wishes to use VCO's it is entirely up to the officer. Some officers choose not to use VCO's some officers do. If you were interested in becoming a VCO you would have to contact the local officer. In Branch County it is Eric Bottorff. A VCO can not do anything unless they are working with a commissioned officer. The District provides all the training needed to become a VCO which training sessions are held periodically when there is a need to train a number of new people to be VCO's. No, 40 years old is not too old. The only age requirement is you must be at least 21 years old.
