St Clair River Fri night

Two fridays in a row , I feel like a real fisherman again. Unfortunately the fish werent as cooperative this week. After battleing the traffic on I-94, we got to the launch about 7:30. What a cluster****. Sailboat racers and fans had pretty much filled the launch lot. Anyway we made our way down the river and got to the green can about 8 pm. By 1 am we had two walleye one catfish (8 lbs) one sheepshead and one goby. there were lots of boats fishing and it required some skillful driving. Good luck if you go. Green and silver produced the best.

Was out friday nite, traffic thru New Baltimore was a pain. they have 29 tore up. Anyhow, made it to Algonac. Fished the boardwalk. Grabbed 2 walleyes. 1 on harness, other using jig head with white perl culprit worm.

BilgeRat your still hitting the Board walk, thats cool glad to here you nailed a few eyes,,you were not have to much luck when I ran into you,,,glad to here you are doing better now!!
How about that boy of yours has he ben getting any fish?

Tonga, thanks. I went by myself, sort of getting away from it all.
You know, there a times when you have to go out just by yourself. For me this is stress relief. The more stressed I am, the longer I stay out fishing. Sure beats the giggle juice(borrowed phrase from another posting).

But, I have taken him out on the boat along with his sister fishing and they love it when they catch fish. Also, being the fishing net assistants.

thats good to hear the last time I saw him he was not having to much fun!,,and you know you have to get them going at a young age!
