Decided to take my father fishing on Thursday afternoon in the rain on the SCR. The day started out great but after cracking open my first "gigily Pop" I got snaged and snaped my rod in half! After a few choice words I calmed down and became a spectator for the rest of the day. My father on the other hand had a good afternoon boating 3 eye's in a little under an hour.
On Friday afternoon I decided to try my luck again and test out the new rod. The afternoon went great and I was able to pull 4 eye's out of the river in 2 hours. I get back home in time for supper and I tie my stringer up in the canal. After supper I grab my digital camera and I get a picture of the fish. I then put the camera in my shirt's front pocket. This turned out to be a bad idea for as I drop the fish back into the canal my camera falls out of my pocket right into the canal! After a few more choice word's I went for a swim and got my camera.
I have since taken the camera apart and dried the internals but the camera is shot! I just got the camera a few week's ago and it is covered under warranty but not water damage!
I guess i spent $400 CND for nothing!
