Navigable streams

Hey Boehr,
Is there any place that I can find a list of streams that are classified as navigable? I'm interested in streams in Barry and Kent County. There are a couple of streams that I want to fish but I'm not sure what the classification of them is. Big Al

There is a "short" list on the DNR web site under Public Rights near the end of the document;
http://www.dnr.state.mi.us/enforcement/publicrights.htm

This however does not contain all navigable streams and you best bet, if the stream doesn't show up on this list, is to contact the appropriate District Office. For Barry County I can check for you, for Kent County, contact Lt. Mary Sherzer, sherzerm@state.mi.us . Make sure you know what section, town and range you are referring to as well as the name of the stream.
