Whats the law on car kill turkey

Boehr, I would ask my nephew but he retired the law on car killed turkey is it the same as deer????

No, not the same. The only time a person can keep a car killed turkey is if it's during the turkey season and the person has a turkey permit and uses their tag on the turkey.

Thanks Boehr, I think that law should be changed, what a waste of meat, except the crows make out well. OH well.

That's true but if there was a car kill for turkey think of the excuse there would be for those who would purposely attempt to hit turkeys with their car/trucks. We have enough of that now and that would just allow the poachers to get the turkey. Don't count on that law ever being changed, the same is true for pheasants, fawn deer and enverything else except deer and bear.
