Went out wed. afternoon to try out kicker motor that has been sitting in my dads garage for about five years. Caught a nice 13" perch while trolling harnesses. We scaled down a little and caught 10 good ones while drifting. Did not have any minnows or we would have anchored. Only spent about 45 minutes then went back to trolling. Picked up one small walleye and a couple of smallmouth. Trolling motor ran great but stopped spitting water so had to use elec. Motor is about 20 years old but only has about 20 hours. I know I won't be allowed to spend much more $$$ this year so I guess I will learn to repair outboards hopefully. May go out on Friday afternoon and try to load up on some perchies.
