me and a buddy fished from the boardwalk in St. Clair on the SCR lat night and got 5 walleyes, 15-21" on cralwer harnesses, greens have been best followed by orange for us.. seen 2 boats driftin out about 100yds from wall and they both boated a couple fish.. wish i had my boat still, lol, guess i will have to stick to fishin from shore.. tight lines..

Yes they have been getting there limits for a couple of weeks now back trolling bottom bouncers with crawler harnesses.. If you get out there two hours before dark and around 30 to 40 min after dark you should have your limit.. I fish there when I cant find the walleye in the river but dont like it much because there are so many boats even during the week.. Well good luck to you all and enjoy.. Cya Brent

I just got back from Thompsons bait accross from the ramp on 12th st looking for Emeralds (which no one has), I don't think there is room for another trailer in the lot. Gonna be a busy night once again.

Hey Tubjig what are you using the Emarled minnow for? I would like to learn something new because it is just another method for me to bring home a limit.. I have been to that launch there but never went into that bait shop..

Have you heard anything about perch fishing in the lake near the channel? I have heard nothing in perch reports.. I would lke to get into them but every time I tried I get Gobies and just a few perch..

I hear if you use minnows instead of worms you can get a limit of perch any truth to that..Cya Slick

Emeralds=prime rib to perch. I am hearing that the netters are unable to get to those fellas because they are in a little deeper water. I would settle for a spot tail over those stinkin golden shiners. Its not just the baitshops around LSC that have crappy bait, its everybody in the thumb too.
