Indian rights

I have an indian card carrying friend and the same rules that apply to us apply to him. He's not required to purchase a license but must adhere to the limits and regulations. Is that post just smoke or are tribal rights being revised?

I can't say for sure but I have heard nothing about it. As far as tribe's rights being revised, the treaty is the treaty, there is no revison. I would suspect it's smoke but contact Law Division at the District Office in Cadillac, they would know. You can also e-mail the law supervisor there too at;

They elaborated further on TSS. I guess it comes down to a land issue.
