If so, how do you do it and does it work?
Mini-dipsy's, Big Jon Mini-disks, BB, I would like to give these a try but i don't know how to present them.
Thanks

Hey Hunt, I use them with moderate success at best. I think the best way is downriggers, that way you hit a constant depth, I don't have downriggers and have run them with all the items you speak of and the one not on your list that I have the best luck with is Jet Divers. They are made for specfic depths i.e, 10', 20', and so on. I like to use a phrase my dad tells me quite often, if the baits isn't in front of their noses it's pretty hard for them to eat it. lol I guess it makes sense......;)

I run them on sliders on my main line, thus putting in more baits per rod.
Last week they took half my catch on the bay, this week they got blanked.

I tryed stinger scorpions for the first time a couple weaks ago on the down riggers and did ok, I think we got 2 on the rigger in about and hour or so befor the bugs scared us off. I tryed some back in the spring on a 3 way with a tot and got a couple that way too.

Hey bud. How did ya do on Sunday?
We were coming in with our limit when I saw you, all came on crawlers.
To answer your question, I had been having good success with them. How I run them is with a Big Jon mini disc, 85-90 ft back off of my big boards with a 4 ft leader to the spoon. Anything with copper was working well.
That was a few weeks ago, they seem to want crawlers now.
Another trick if they are not hitting the spoons on the discs is to take it off and put a 4 ft crawler harness behind the disc.

PJ,
Great to see you again! The only thing I brought in was a couple of Sheephead. As you can see I got out late, so I wasn't expecting much. I ran the "fun meter" up pretty good Saturday night and I needed to sleep.
I'll try the disk thing. I've hooked up some other fish, but not any walleye yet.
Let's go fish sometime. I would like to get some perch. I've been hit or miss on them, but when they hit it is usually lots and big.

Yep, the perch should be in pretty soon.
We are going out again this Sunday, should be at the ramp around 6. Get you butt out of bed earlier this time and follow us out. Or I can give you the numbers we will be at.
