I went fishing in the rain with a couple of my buddies yesterday.
Fishing was fantastic. The strong SW wind as blowing the bait fish into the NE corner of the lake. The predators were on the feeding frenzy. I think we caught 6-7 14"+ bass in under an hour from that corner.
We had 12 keepers for the night with 3 people fishing.

A while later when the rain and wind was lightening up I hooked into this nice fish. It was a fat fish. You can kind of see the stomach bulging on the picture.

Nice bass Rockman.

I ran into similar fishing on Orchard Lake yesterday. 17 bucketmouths, two nice smallies and a 15# carp. Fished from 10 til 3 with the best bite coming in the rain. Throwing a white 4" finess worm on a 3/16 oz jighead in 12-15' of water.
