One jumps right into the prop and you can hear it getting ground up.

Man, wouldn't that throw a whole new twist into night fishing...

I don't see how they are going to stop them with an electrical barrier, sooner or later the power will go out. Lets hope they have a backup genie for it!!

From what those commercial fishermen said about them taking over the river, Imagine Lake Michigan. Wonder how long they would take to overrun the lakes???

Think I'll start looking for a place in FLA:rolleyes:

That would be an odd thing to see live. I am surprised they aren't required to wear a helmet. :D

Wow! That video was incredible. How bad is the problem in the Great Lakes? I have heard that we have a problem. I have never seen anything like that. Now all those stroies about how "the fish just jump in the boat" are true;) ;)

Hmmm. I see a new sport developing. A combination of fishing and skeet shooting.
How do they taste?

I guess someone did a blind taste test and more people liked the asian carp over tuna. They are filter feeders like the paddlefish and not bottom feeders like the common carp so their meat is probably fairly clean and free of toxins.

This is a scary situation. Especially when one of the reports states that they have become 90% of the fish population in certain rivers. I hate to say it, but i don't have much faith in the barrier they installed either. Sooner or later some of the fry will get through somewhere. Those are some ugly SOBs too.

Might add a little excitement to an early morning fishing trip. Gonna have to dust off the ole Louisville Slugger. :D

No wonder they like to fish for those in Asia. Looks like they'd put up a hell of a fight.
