Boehr Thank you for participating in this type of forum. I'm sure your work keeps you very busy, I would not want to answer question about polymer enginnering or fluid flow and heat transfer equations when I'm at home. That being said here is my question:

Can I use a night vision scope on my .22wmr rimfire to hunt coyotes? I know this sounds outlandish and expensive. The question was brought to me by a friend that is new to predator hunting and I didn't know how to answer it. My knee-jerk response was "no"

A night vision scope does not cast the rays of a light (not that it would matter for coyotes) and it is legal to hunt coyotes at night so the answer is - Yes, you can use a night vision scope at night to hunt coyotes.
