I use various brands of tubes but I only use these jig hooks.
The F series are salt water hooks and they don't rust when left in a salty tube.

Thanks Hotwired...Where do you get 'em? Can you get them locally or do you have to order them?

The first time I found them was at the Gibralter Trade Center (Giant Flea Market) in Mt.Clemens at a Hunting and Fishing Show.
The vendor told me he gets the from the company I posted.
I personally have never bought them online but had a friend call and verify they were saltwater and he ordered them over the phone.
I usually hit the same show every year and buy mine there.
Hope this helps.

I prefer to use the brand that Gander Mountain caries in the bulk. As for the hooks we make all our own. Using a laser sharp #630 Oshaugnessy hook from eagle claw. Nice thing about these hooks are they are super strong and sharp. Also makes it nice for fish that are 3lbs and smaller because you can flip em in the boat without having to mess with a net. I believe the brand of the tubes are Shubert. Gander in saginaw has a really nice selection.

I use the bulk tubes from lakeside in Farmington hills. They have many colors. I use different size weights. But the ones i used are lazer sharpened titanium. Dont know the brand bucause there like a buck a piece, they will sell you just a couple instead of a whole pack.

I almost always rig them texas style with a bullet weight in front of the tube and a 1/0 ewg style hook. As for brand of tube it doesnt really matter to me all that much but I mostly use powerbait.

I use one half of a number 5 split shot inserted, followed by a home made tube rattle.....both are locked in when I texpose a 2/0 Extra Wide Gap Gamakatsu hook.
