It may be a little early to post this,or maybe this is the wrong forum to do it..
The local Wal-Mart in Bad Axe is hosting its 2nd Annual Salmon Tournament on July 26th, to be held in Port Austin Mi.
Tournament times are 5:00am leaving from the Port Austin Lighthouse with the weigh in at 1:30pm in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. There will be free hot dogs, chips and pop for participants..The entry fee is $50.00 per boat (4 man max)
This will be for the biggest 1 fish from any of the following species..King-Coho or Steelhead..
1st Place:Garmin GPS Model #72 and 2 Eagle claw rods with Diawa 47LC Reels
2nd Place:2 Okuma Rod Combos-Line counter Reels
3rd.-100 Qt. Marine Cooler with Electric Fillet Knife.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO "THE CHILDRENS MIRACLE NETWORK"
This isnt a BIG MONEY tournament but it is fun and for charity..Maybe we can get a few boats and make a mini-outing out of it..If you wish any more info or want an application please post here or send me an PM...thanks..bob
