Any word of walleye being caught by the charities. Going up to Port Austin for the forth, for a week. Just wondered if anyone has heard anything.

Yes. Some info would be great if you have any. I have finally obtained a boat that I won't be scared of going out to the Charities in. My boss worked me like a dog this last few weeks, and I could use a good day or two on the water so I didn't see this post earlier.
The west side of the state seems to be slow right now according to any reports I've heard so East side here I come.
Probably have room for one ( maybe two in the boat also).

Was fishing the bay near black hole could hear the guys north of the charites, 45 feet of water near the steeples doing real well. Many people reporting limits on pa's rigs. So they are happening. Hope you get on a bunch of them nice eye's. We only caught 7 fish near the black hole but saw many other boats getting them also.

Griz,
I was pretty close to the Black Hole and did quite well also.
8 fish 22-28". Marked some large pods of baitfish with some nice fish shadowing 'em but couldn't get em to go. Moved off the packs and hammered em.
I just want to get out to the Charities to give this new Hotspots on my X-15 a serious try-out.
