Sturgeon

Fished the Sturgeon for the first time on Saturday morning. Hit a few smaller browns and rainbows, best was about 11-12 inches. The area I fished ran right next to the road and looked like it may have been fished pretty hard (goat paths galore along the river banks!).

New to the area and I have a lot more exploring to do. Chapter one in the area exploration book complete. Here's looking forward to many more chapters...

Nothing like exploring new areas.....ahhhh the possibilties. I have a hard time not fishing when I don't know whats up around the bend. That is a great river with a lot of areas to explore. I have only just begun on my chapters.
How was the water levels?

can't really speak from experience since it was the first time out, but it appeared to be pretty low from water marks that were made much higher up the bank in a lot of places. it was also gin clear.
