The "new" plastic tots have a gold/green herring bone that has been producing 6 to 1 over my old favorite silver/blue with a red lip.

I bought a few more of this new green color.

Well I got 40 of the metal lips today. I just bought whatever was left I couldnt make up my mind. Ill repaint the ones I dont like. Anyone know how they get that good crome finish on them, thats gotta be crome leaf or foil.

holy smokes...although i seen a guy with about 150 of them in a shopping cart at Bass Pro when they had Midnight madness...they were 99 cents!! i got about 10 that day

I would have to say the # 1 is the old copper clad it is green on top and copper on bottom. There is one out by the producers that is green on top small blue line in the middle and the bottom is copperish gold, that has been my "producer". For the price those lures aint that bad. I bought a bunch in a bin at dick's for $1.99.

I've only fished once with the new tots and found they ran great. Maybe I got lucky but the one jethro describes took 4 of five fish last sat while 3 of my older favorites did squat

I got them at a very good deal. Buy 5 get 5 for free or 50% off 5. Not bad I thought so I got a little crazy. I found out the gold ones are bass magnets tonite at Luna Peir. 2- 6.

Well when I was 16 and a first mate on a walleye charter in Saginaw Bay, one of our best producer's for number's and big fish, was a purple/chart. herring-bone/red lip, it always caught atleast half the fish every trip, and most of the big fish. Also, there was a copper colored crawfish pattern, and a mettalic pink crawfish pattern that worked quite well, as well as the standard blue/silver/red lip, and the blue herringbone rattle tot.
