the Fox you could float down with no problem, but the east branch of the Fox might be a little to small for a float trip.

It may be worth the extra drive to hit the two hearted river.

I've floated part of the mid-section of the fox before in a canoe. Even that was tough in a couple places if you're trying to fish (the river chanel is quite narrow). I've also done it in a one man tube boat. That worked well, anything larger than that and I think you may have trouble.
