Kids Fishing

I would like to take my sons fishing from the shore someplace where they can catch anything to keep them occupied. We have tried Flatrock, Belleville and also Kensington. If anyone has any suggestions for the Canton area I would be grateful. I am willing to drive for 30 or 40 miles.... Thanks

If you really want your kids to easily catch some nice fish.

Hands down willow metropark off of willow rd in new boston has a 16 acre pond just stacked full of nice panfish and some monster bass. 5-9# range

That's where I take my son and we have a blast.

We've never left there w/o a bucket full of good size, eating fish.

You can fish from shore or they rent boats for 5$ per hr.

Well gave it a go Saturday night and slayed 'em. Catchin a few on worms then I switched to a rubber spider and caught a few bass and about 100 gills between us. Most were small but if we would have been keeping we would have had enough slabs for a meal...

If you take a boat out to the middle, there's a hole around 15 FOW. you can catch some huge perch.

Fly rods work awesome.
