There was a stocking program in wabasis in the early 90's but it was scrapped do to poor returns.......i doubt they could reproduce in their but its possible....silver lake in kent county hasnt been stocked in 12 years but it has all kinds of wallyes of all different sizes including fish pushing ten pounds!!!!.......lincoln lake is heavily stocked and i hear people do well there.....there are also wallyes in the grand of course :)

i talked to a guy who lives on wabasis this winter and he said basicallly the same thing as pikedevil-they stocked during the early 90's, but the fish are now almost nonexistant, he said something about the lake being to mucky for them to spawn.

Alrighty then...Is there small mouths in Wabasis or is it primarily a pike, large mouth, bluegill lake?
And on another note...What would you gusy suggest for catching Walleyes in Lincoln? I know there are smallies in Lincoln since that is all i've caught out of that lake so far.

Wabasis is a good crappie lake......used to rail the pike there but no luck this year.....decent largemouth lake with good size..........for wallyes in lincoln lake try black and silver floating rapalas along the deep weep lines after dark......put sum shot in front of the plugs to get more depth.....
