has anyone fished higginslake lately,just want to know if fish are striking? how deap and if trolling or live bait drifting.thanks mountainman:cool:

I was up there last weekend...I only took a boat ride around the lake...I didn't see, or talk to anyone that fished...It looked pretty dead, just pleasure boaters...

its been calm around lake . i want to target rainbows,i didnt do to badly this winter.just have to figure out time and location and fish the same way.if anyone has infor send message thanks mountainman

Hey,
Any thing new on Higgins to report, I am heading up next week,
caught some smallies & pan fish before. I'd like to try Lakers but were & how's the questions.

nothing new to report,the 4th was great,must have been 3000 boats on the lake for fireworks also the best fireworks ive seen in a long time.

Mountainman hey,pal how`ve ya been? Have`nt been to Higgy scince our efforts the 1st part of June. Heard out of Jacks sports Shop an 18# + laker came in to be weighed , cauhgt out of Higgins.When we goin`???

just let me know whats good for you.havent had achance either.had grand kids for a week ,over the 4th. i may have sold that river access piece.were building in lakes of the north ,so after work one day we can meet at torch if possible. let me know.

Excellent !! We`ve gotta get warmed up for those brutes out on the big pond...It`ll have to be one of those last minute things, always a good day when we can get together for sure. Have a few new 18`s in the silver n chartreuse that need some teeth marks in `em. Now that the water has calmed after the 4th, Torch would be an A+ Choice. CANT WAIT! We should be in the cold water site , oh well.Lets try after work friday??? Have room for another , if intereseted. Give mountainman or myself a hollar.

This well deserved rain, has put a crimp in my style...Sunday @ 5:00am is my target day.Lets fill the box! Time to trick a few trout out of Torch.
