Info on Barnum Lake near Lake Fenton, Lake Fenton itself or any of the surrounding lakes would be much appreciated.

How about some info on what kind of info you want . . .
What species are you looking to target? Do you use live vs artificial bait mostly? Do you have a boat? Give us a little help.

I was browsing the 'net for houses and there is a nice one on Barnum lake. I was wondering about the fishing on that lake specifically and other lakes in the area generally. I do have a boat but Barnum is a private lake so apparently only residents can use it. Not targeting any one species just a general idea about the quality of fish in the area.

have no idea about Barnum, but Fenton has an excellant fishery. Bass, Walleye Pike, gills and crappie abound in there.

I have only fished Fenton twice, but found it to be very productive both times for bass. Hit several hammer handles as well. From what I have seen, its a great lake. Nice clear water with good weed beds. Deep holes as well. It has all the ingredients, including a little rockier area as well.
I fished Lobdell for the first time this spring as well. I really liked the two lakes connected to Lobdell. The names escape me right now. I'd like to fish them again soon.
Good luck in the house hunt.
