I can't wait !!

After a beautiful couple of days in Traverse City, we got home last night and unpacked the car and just loafed. Spent today unpacking and just generally not much of anything. But with the weather as nice as it is, I just can't resist getting the boat in the water and throwing the Scum Frog around for a couple of hours.
I'm outta here in about an hour. Will report results on return.

Well, it was a SLOW night. I only landed three and missed a couple of other strikes. (Gotta quit getting so impatient :))

I ended up having to get off the lake at about 8:15 though as thunderstorms QUICKLY moved in. :eek: I was quite a distance from the boat launch and there were three other guys out there that were all the way on the other side of the lake . All three of them were in float tubes. The whole time I was pulling my boat out I was hoping that they weren't going to try to kick their way back. I decided that I would head over to the beach area after I got the boat loaded to see if they had decided to get out of the water at the beach. Then I could give them a lift back to their trucks. About the time I was pulling out of the launch it was raining pretty good and there was lightning present. I turned out of the launch and there was all three of them just about backm to the parking area. I'm glad they decided to hoof it back instead of paddle ! That could have been UGLY !

Well, I don't know if I'm going to be able to make the Bass opener on LSC this weekend as I'm starting another deck tomorrow or Saturday. But if things go well, I might be able to make it out for at least one of the mornings. If I do, I'll post in the LSC forum how I did.
