came out of the channel at boles and I thought the weather men were a little off, they said n/winds 5 to 10 for the most part, the wind out east and wave's were pretty high, took us 3 times as long to get out, stopped at 5 1/2 miles, try drifting BB's, one perch after 1 hour, tried trolling them nothing, wondered why no one was out near us, they were clustered in closer, the waves were just to much and we called it quits after about 2 and half hours, long ride back in with the big rollers. had the 1 neighbor kids out, they had to set down so they wouldn't get tossed off in the big waves, they looked like 3 or more with a 5 thrown in every 6th one. Heard what sounded like some one talking to spanky and he said he did well. saw some boats at stoney point but there was no way I was going to try 6 mile more in those waves. sumnation, should have stayed home, rough lake today.

Yes spanky, I listened to you and used 4 ounce on the BB'S, another thing was the weeds were pretty bad, at one point a weed had got caught on the line and in about 15 minutes the wind had blown it up the line to the pole because we had the wind at our backs , me and Art were laughing, it's pretty bad when the weed go's up the line. boy there were some rollers, My cat handles it about as good as it gets but today it was rocking and rolling, my cat is self bailing and has full flotation but I didn't stick around to see if they were going to get bigger. the V bottoms were really rocking, at one point we saw a 16 foot or so tri hull, the big rollers would come and they would disapear except for there heads sticking above the waves.
The youngest kid had a heavey hit on his pole while troling a erie dearie, he reeled it and you could see it fighting then it was gone, I was sure hoping to get them some fish, well next time. Yes we need to get together. I all ways try to post if I catch any thing or not, it looks like the wind is going to be out of the east again tomorrow, the water was getting murky because to the east wind churning the water, me and art won't go tues or wed, wed its a chance of showers also, I am going to keep a eye out for thur and fri to try again, beats setting in the house any day
