Fished a river north of Lansing today and the fish were going nuts in this hot weather. My buddy and I caught more and bigger smallmouth today than I ever have in this river. Also got one 20ish pike that I had to go into the river after when it wrapped me around a log. It was fun fighting them on my ultralight and 4 lb... Get out there and get 'em while it's hot. :cool:
