Dads Day On Erie With My Kids.

spent fathers day on erie with my 3 kids and my wife. did pretty good in the fishing department,being the kids wanted to do more swimming then fishing,and we had that crack of 10:30 start thanks to the other half.took home 14 walleye most in the 18in to 22in class a few bigger and a few smaller,also took home 15 perch about half over 10in.fished out by the turning basin a bout a mile north to about a mile north of spudnick.first went the area where i've takaning the past two weeks ,in 24 fow in front of two stacks,looked like you could walk from boat to boat so we headed out,wished I would of gotton some minnows for the perch,took all the perch on b/b with crawlers.all and all a great day on the water.kids had a blast swimming.

Swimming! It must be nice to be young again, In LSC. I was lookinking at 53 - 60 degrees. Way too cold for this old man. Good job on the fish!

the water was much warmer then I thought it was going to be,at the end of the day the surface temp,even broke 70 in a few spots for the most part the kids where swimming in water in the mid 60's,still way to cold for this dad to jump in.
