A buddy took me fishing out of Sterling State Park this morning. We caught a few perch, a niice walleye, and a white bass.
My buddy didn't know if white bass are good to eat or not.
I kept it and filleted it.
Any thoughts, suggestions or cautions about cooking and eating white bass?
My plan is to pan fry it like the perch and walleye.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I never kept them years ago, this spring I tried one and it was good, I deep fry all my fish in the oil cooker with peanut oil, I heard people say they are trash, don't believe it, I keep the decent ones over 10 to 12 inchs now. I couldn't tell a lot of difference between them and walleye and perch, they were all good. I just use one cup flour and one cup of corn meal to roll mine in. I get the oil really hot before I put them in, 350 degree's
