will the east wind kill the fishing in erie?

i wanta head down to sterling this week, and was wondering if this east wind will screw the fishing up? anyone out this afternoon? (sunday) i had a buddy fish luna pier friday and saturday and caught 88 walleyes on his boat. caught'em on everything. just wondering how the afternoon bite went.
