we took 8 walleye and about a dozen perch. one perch was 15" it may go on the wall for my buddy. we didnt fish any water we fished wed or fri..... not my idea.. we met another boat and fished near them for a bit south of the harbor. to keep good speed we have to run the electric motor and go with the wind. terrible. pain my butt. well, we ended up so far south that i think we were in ohio waters... my buddy said it was a light house but i thought it was a tall ship. the horn sounded every 30 sec or so... ship or lighthouse? way south of bolles.
all in all not a bad day. i would have preffered to fish north and deeper but it was not my boat and some old dogs wont learn new tricks.:D btw, we didnt get a walleye over 20 in today. north and deeper i say!!!!

Polar, all the mich maps have the boundry lines drawn in, Here is a map I put some red lines on showing Mi & Ohio boundry lines, its only about 3 1/2 to 4 miles max out of Boles, the furthur south you go the closer the Oh line is. if you was to go 6 1/2 miles south you will be at turtle island just short of the ohio shipping channel . next time you are Boles just continue across past the entrance about 1/2 mile, there are two bait stores, they have a hot spot map about $7.50 it covers from north detroit river mouth to vermilion Oh, The best thing is if you look at it is you can tell the dividing line by depth of the water near the line. this map is water proof, real handy

Polarbear....You were near the Toledo Light. My wife and I were out today and got 12 nice eyes in 24-26 ft of water straight out from Sterling State Park casting gold dearies and weapons. Only took about 2 hours. I had no luck trolling today. Tried spoons/dipsies and tots and inline boards and got skunked for 2 hours. They seem to love crawlers right now.
