Storing wood chunks?

What is the best way to store wood chunks that won't be used for awhile?

Id think it would be same as all meat I didnt know people ate wood chuck I guess it wouldnt be much differnt then squirrel although it dose live under ground I dont know if I can clear my head to eating them? how is it compared to squirrel?I have a few in back yard that are going to have to go reason for that is that are eating my garden before it has time to grow I used to respect them and let them live at same time as my cousin uses thwm as target practice with bow I felt sad but no more Im going to target practice know on, also beside my dog will attacts them and has been bit a few times worried it will kill my little dotson witch is a great rabbit dog,as to store them I have no clue sorry but really I think meat is meat freaze it the way you would deer,beef good luck
