I am making a trip to the pigeon river flooding near woverine in july for bass/pike/gill fishing. my friend who has fished there before tells me there are small feeder creeks that empty into the lake/river, and that brookies can be taken there. I am not familiar with this body of water at all, and am wondering what to expect. does anyone have any info about this area, I dont like making the trip north without prospecting for trout. Is the sturgeon in wolverine worth fishing? thanks for any info.:)

The Pigion, Black and Sturgon all hold trout in that area, as well as most or all of the feeder creeks up there. Good luck!
