We nailed them pretty good Friday (30 May 03) morning/afternoon out past GP/GPF and near the dumping grounds but closer in shore. Fished from 1000 until 1400 and put ten fish in the boat and lost two at the boat. All were good size fish. One really big fish that we think went 8 pounds plus. Poor netting, hook got into the webbing and the fish was gone. Hot set up was crawler harness, three way. None on lures ( F4/5's). Colors that worked best were copper, chartruse. Majority came in at 10 to 12 feet. Inside rods, fished with just enough weight to keep the line on the bottom. Saw very few boats where we fished but saw plenty around the Metro area on the way home. Stopped to say hi and the two boats I talked to were catching fish.

I have not been out since wed. afternoon when we got four in pretty windy conditions, but last sunday we had to sort out the small ones. Most guys we talked to were doing well if they were trolling. Sounds like there will be enough wind to drift on sunday if your not able to slow troll. If you can get out do so, w/ the weather we have had you have to take it when you can get it. One monster pike should make a slow day awesome. I'm out until midweek, so save a few. Green/white or green/silver have been the best for this LSC rookie.
