Willie I never get sick of hearing reports or seeing the fish. Hope that's the photo you wanted. Nice bunch of fish.

thanks again ED you can have the credit but i want the fillets.wish i could go this weekend but have to go the cabin and cut grass.if you go out,start about 100yards north of MCRAE'S by the time you get ready you should be in the spot we fished in 42-38 fow.

Hey Willie, Have you or anyone else you ever tried Fireline for chugging? Just wonder how it would compare to heavy mono.

when you pull them up from chugging It's a hand over hand thing and it has to be quick. I would think, If you went with a thin super line, you would need to wear gloves. You might also have a gripping the line problem. You might also run into the problem of line tangle after you pulled a fish in.
From the few times I have chugged there is no problem keeping the sinker on the bottom with heavy line and to have a little streach in the line while landing a fish might be benficial. JMO I'm sure Willie has a lot more hrs. Chugging than I.

Willie,,,,, Any chance that you could teach me how to chug???? I have vertical jigged from Mcrays down past Nunnellys hole and have done well, but want to learn how to chug......

sure no problem,didn't go this weekend went to the cabin raked leaves/cut grass rained all friday night ,saturday afternoon was perfect.looked at the river sunday on the way home river looked dirty.will get ahold of you when i go again.

don't think i,d use anything less than 25lb.mono for the reasons mentioned above also prolly cut your fingers to ribbons.
