Trying to mount my riggers to the boat but the bolts and nuts that come with the Pursuit track are not long enough. I am in the need of 3 1/2" bolts stainless steel. I have tried Home Depot and a couple other hardware stores no luck. Need to be flatheads. Any help is appreciated.

Head on over to a Dammans or any other full-service hardware store. Go to the hardware aisle where they sell all of the nuts/bolts/screws/etc. They will have (usually blue) plastic cabinets with almost ANY kind of hardware you can imagine. I'm sure they will have stainless flathead machine screws and locknuts. (or regular nuts and stainless lockwashers)

If Dammans doesn't, you might have to head over to West Marine or a similar place. But I'm almost positive that Dammans will have it.

Good luck !

Boaters World(I go to the one in Scumit Place Mall in Pontiac) has the best selection by far. I can always find what I need there. Besides them, boat stores or small hardwares(ACO or True Value) are youre best bet.

Lumberjack stores have stainless fasteners by the pound as do some Farm and Fleets. The one in St. Clair has more sizes and types than you can shake a stick at. It's a LOT cheaper than by the piece too. I usually pick up what I went in for, and an assortment of other stuff just to have around.

If you can't find them locally or it's too far a drive, try www.mcfeelys.com .....They've got all kind of screws, bolts, etc. in various finishes/materials.

Our West Marine in Lansing has pretty good supply of SS fasteners.
