5/24 Fished the mainstream of the Au Sable Saturday afternoon.Motoring the driftboat from connors Flats to just above the South Branch of the Au Sable.After a short shore lunch we Started our float down stream casting streams into the log jams with dark skies and on and off mist.While fishing both me and my partner both missed fish on streamers.Then about 4 o clock with a water temp of 54 degress we had sulphars on the water as we floated down stream we only had three rising fish.Only one of which was caught and released (6 in brookie)on a size 16 sulphar parachute.All in all it wasn t a bad trip for the conditions.
