Sorry for the late posts but better than never no computers near the water. Friday night got to the lake and turned the key "DEAD BATTERY" long trip to Crocker to pick up a yearly pass. Saturday 1/4 mile from metro point my friends got 6 ( 5 eater 16 to 19" ) and 1 about 7 1/2 lbs. 10 good perch trolling. No motor to troll here and no wind = 1 rock bass for 3 hrs fishing. Weird they would even drift with us and still no fish on our end. Anyway on sunday ended up all over the detroit river and got 4 by the "MOVEMENT FESTIVAL" seems as if the music was right there on us. Well went on up near peche Island and got 4 more and 1 sublegal for my first jigging Wally. Did manage to hook 4 fish that slammed the jig and worm and snap me off . 12 lb test so they werent small.cut my line clean about a foot from my swivel. We did get alot off silver bass and white Perch and 1 smally. Well all in all they let me get 4 to put in the freezer " there freezers have been full for a few weeks so I havent starved for the walleye.

Went to Metro for a BBQ on Monday and damn there were alot of boats out and had me tempted to leave my bbq and go get the boat. Instead all the ladies took the kids home and me and a couple of the guys headed up to south river rd to fish the rocks. Only a few silver bass and sheep head but saw a few %&**%$ guys leaving with suckers and sheephead . I never ate any of these fish so it was a little weird for me although I know some guy who likes to take the sheephead and make fish head soup. Nasty if you ask me but whatever "floats there boat or finds there lost remote" Will be on the pond today at the nursery will update.
