I finally managed to land an Au Sable Steelhead. I caught this spawned out hen Saturday at about 9am in the pouring rain. It was caught on a spawn bag. This fish must have been hungry because that bag was deep in it's throat. It was one of those soft hits though. Lots of people around me catching them. Caught quite a few planters near the dam also. Maybe one more weekend of good fishing on the Au Sable?
