A good buddy of mine has passed. He was a dedicated salmon fisherman out of Oscoda. We spent hundreds of hours on "Double Trouble". Just paying my respects to Mark Fuller.

that, Oscoda is my home port, I have talked to the Double Trouble on the radio before but never met the man personally. I can say he was out there at least as much as myself and always willing to help out when in need (except during Tourney's of course) God Bless you Mark now your chasing all trophies. Good Luck all and lets remember to take a minute to truely enjoy what we have on our doorsteps in this great State.

Sorry to hear of your loss but you know he is in a better place than us. I can relate to your feelings because I lost my fishing buddy 3 yrs ago and still havnt found a steady partner yet. He was my father-in-law which was my only dad since mine past away many years ago. Just remember he will always have tight lines.

QuakrTrakr,
Was Mark the owner of Double Trouble? If I rember correctly, he was in mid to late 30's. I've talked to him quite a few times on the radio and at the dock at Bunyan Town.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll miss seeing that 26 Carver working the holy waters.

Getaway- Yeah that was him. He was 42. He had a slip in Main Pier. He had a kerosene heater that was putting out carbon monoxide that got to him.
Just so everybody knows, there are two boats out of Oscoda with that name. I think the other boat was trailered there occasionally. Mark's has been there probably 5 or 6 years.
