27 point reportedly taken here

I didn't see it myself yet but I heard of a 27 point buck taken here in the western UP. The TV station was reportedly on it's way to take pictures this afternoon. A friend called my wife and told her that there were about 60 guys standing around and looking at the buck.

False report! The "27 point" was in todays newspaper. It was a 17 point. Still a beautiful buck, but not what it had been talked up to be. The funny thing was, I heard about it from a number of different people. I guess news travels fast but it doesn't travel accurately. Sorry for the mistake.
