I have permission to hunt a relatives small farm in DMU 125 and use his property tax number when applying for the (guest) anterless license.I also sometimes hunt another spot a few miles away that is in the " Hunters access program" leased by the DNR.
I'd always thought it was legal to use the doe permit on private land within the same DMU as long as you have permission to hunt that property.I checked with the license vender this year while purchasing the permit he said the anterless permit was only vaild for the property listed for that tax id #.Anyone know the law's veiw on this subject.....

I too thought that as long as you are in the same DMU as the tax number, you are OK. I look forward to finding out.

The permit is good for any private land in that DMU as long as you secure permission to hunt.
Private Land
The Private Land Antlerless Deer Hunting License is valid for taking antlerless
deer from any privately owned lands within the deer management unit speci-fied
on the private land antlerless deer license with permission of the landown-er.
Private Land Antlerless Deer Licenses are not valid on public lands. The
owner does not have to live on the property to be eligible. Persons applying as
an owner must have the minimum required contiguous acreage under their
ownership. Persons who rent, lease, or have permission to hunt antlerless deer
may combine contiguous, huntable parcels in order to meet the minimum
acreage requirement. Property owners will be selected before lessees, renters,
or persons applying with permission if there are more applicants than available
licenses within a deer management unit.
