Well I saw it with my own eyes tonight. You know how everyone says carbons arrows are either straight or they are broken? Well, I saw a buddy bend a Beeman ICS 400, and it returned for the majority, but it now has alot of noticeable permanent bend in the arrow, to the point where it is no longer accurate. So much for carbons being either straight or broken. This is the only company so far that i know of though that has these problems with their aluminum arrows.

it was a freak arrow..... kinda like you never buy an alum. arrow with a weaker spine than rated or flex cracks unseen from the factory or inconsistancy in the walls? I still beleive that carbon is the way to go. I have hunted with the "old" ICS and was not inpressed, kinda like buying the lowest grade alum. After you shoot them a few hours a day a couple of weeks in a row, they seriously lose there memory. The "new and improved" ICS i hear is better, ill stick to the old style carbon "Beaman Hunter". Killed a pile load of deer, not to mention, i have a "lucky" carbon that has taken over 10 deer and a bull elk....not to many alum. arrows can do that.....matter of fact i have not seen it in 19 years of bow hunting....just my 2 pennies

I'm in agreement w/ Bowhunt it was just a bad arrow or maybe even a bad run of arrows. I used the old Beamans for years and then Gold Tips and now Carbon Express w/ no problems. I have used probably close to 10 dozen arrows of different sizes, grades of quality and manufacturer's and have never discarded one because it wasn't straight. In the long run they are still the most economical provided you don't shoot rocks, basement walls or tend to lose them in the field.
Recently purchased a Reflex Caribou. I am a finger shooter and went to this very quiet and forgiving bow after shooting one that a friend purchased. I keep my shots under 20 yds. I have taken 24 deer with my Oregon bow Set at 72 lb 42inch axel to axel. The Refex Caribou I will shoot at 65lb and shoot 31 inch arrows using Muzzy 125. Any recommendations on carbons as I might try them since I am setting up this bow for next year. I kept track of my last dozen 2413 XX75 aroows , they took 13 deer. 3 took 9 of them, with pass thru shots these were undamaged. In addition 6 Muzzy 125 accounted for 15 deer. Two had blades bent and had replacement blades installed and the others resharpened to razor sharp. Thank You!!
