Hubbard/Van Ettan east side

Could use advice on these 2 lakes. Will head up tonight and need to verify safe ice on Hubbard, and and perch results on Van Ettan. I have a quad and can go to either, but am concerned about the gas holes reported on Hubbard. I watched a guy go through the ice in a canal on St.Clair last Sunday, quad and all. Please post any updates.

Go to the Tawas area post, I put a web address there for a NE Mich site called Front Page.
