Freshly baked biscuits
8 or more morel mushrooms coarsley chopped
1 onion minced
1 ts garlic
3/4 stick butter
2 tbsp flour
4 cups milk

Melt butter in pan and add schrooms and onion and garlic. Cook under medium heat intil lightly browned. Wisk flour into milk and add slowly to mixture. Add milk if too thick, stir constantly and salt and pepper to taste. A deep rich smoky sauce I wouldnt ruin with sausage, but would be good I'm sure.

If you have a lot of Morells,, they are excellent when dried and powdered. Morell powder added to gravy gives that wonderful Morell flavor any time of the year and will keep indefinately.
