This is a Minnesota example of wanton waste. I can remember a few cases of wanton waste that I've witnessed in Michigan (salmon, carp, suckers). I expect that the COs have several stories over the years.
Wanton waste of fish investigated
One incident involved the dumping of a large amount of filleted fish remains. The same investigator is also looking for the person or persons who speared and left for dead about 140 adult suckers in a creek feeding into the big lake.
