How's fishing at Kent Lake in Kensington MetroPark?

Will be fishing tomorrow evening from 3-7pm either at Kent Lake or Stoney Creek. It depends on whether my sister's fiance' can make it or not. (And how the fishing is). Anyone been out today and have any luck, or techniques they would like to share?

Also is the ice ok at Kent Lake?
