Boating deaths up, but accidents down

There were 1,004,836 registered boats in Michigan in 2002, an increase of less than 1,000 from 1,003,947 in 2001. The number of registered boats went up by nearly 4,000 from 2000 to 2001 and by about 10,000 from 1999 to 2000.

Those #'s also included Jet skis. I would like to see a break down on that.
