Fished the Au Sable with my brother. I hooked 7, landed 4, and my bro landed 3, can't remember how many he hooked, we also fouled a few(including some big males). The morning bite was great, for about an hour, we couldn't miss, every other drift, fish on. The hot pattern again, was sucker spawn in various color combinations. My 4 fish consisted of 3 males, and one hen, the males were 10lbs(released), 4lbs, and about 17-18"(fought great), the hen was a good one, about 9lbs+. My bro's fish ranged from 4-8lbs or so. Still a good amount of freshies around, though my hen was dark. Lot's of nearly spawned out silver females, my brother did land a tight one though. Tons, and tons of suckers. Don't know what to say the status of the run is, there were more fish than on Sunday, so don't know what to make of it, tight-lines. Oh one more thing, what ever happened to the advantage of fishing a weekday? The access side was full by 7:00am, I guess people don't work anymore:D .
