Launch your boat at Sterling S.P. ??

Has anyone launched their boat at Sterling State Park this year? If so how is the new launch? Did you happen to see if anyone was camping at the State Park?

Thanks for the reply. We are heading that way early Saturday morning 5/10 to walleye fish. I guess if it isn't open we can head to Boles Harbor. Normally we camp at Sterling but looks like that won't happen either. I tried to find a marina in the Monroe area that allowed you to say in your pickup camper or motorhome if you paid for a slip. But apparently there isn't such a place in this area. The DNR has really messed this up. I'm not the only person that is scrambling for a place to launch and a place to camp, there was alot of out-of-town walleye fishermen, that spent May, June and some of July camping at Sterling and launching from there. Never again will I have sympathy for the DNR when they cry for more money. To me it looks like mismanagement, big time.
