Smelt Advice?

I will be heading up to the Tawas/AuGres area Saturday night and morning with my father in law for a first attempt at dipping. Thanks to all for information that you gave on calling the Country Store Market. They actually told me to call the place next to them which is Planks Market (989) 876-8415. They just reported that they had 200 lbs of fresh smelt coming in that they got last night.

I have another question for the experts...the only place I ever hear about is Singing Bridge. Can you guys reccomend any other areas to try that may not get as crowded? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. PM me or send me an e-mail to binkley@mmi.org
