Bluegills!!

We have been getting gills when not out turkey hunting, but many reports have been good. The groups of guys I take turkey hunting are all bluegill fishing before their hunt starts on Monday. They have been tearing them up. Limits everyday and some days are hogs.

They are still using ice fishing jigs with spikes, with many using black nats topped with spikes, or waxies.

Anyone else doing any good?

What general area in michigan are they getting them??? I will be trying for pans and bass:eek: on some oakland count lakes, just so you know, the bass fishing will be happening in pontiac lake.
